Guys we F*cked podcast to book

My favourite podcasters wrote a book! I’ve just purchased my copy (pictured slightly further down). Guys we fucked is the anti slut shaming podcast, covering all kinds of topics related to sex, with a comedic approach. These two comedians from New York are hilarious, Corinne Fisher & Krystyna Hutchinson have a no holds barred approach to tackling any issue, which I love.

The Book

fcked bookF*CKED: Being Sexually Explorative and Self-Confident in a World That’s Screwed.

Over a year’s work culminating in a real life hard copy book. It’s actually really great to see people who I’ve followed for like 3 years have success like this. When they started the podcast they were both working other jobs to support themselves and doing stand up. Through the success of the podcast they have been able to make stand up comedy and the podcast their full time jobs. Travelling and taking both their stand up show and the podcast experience on the road. I’ve only read a few paragraphs of the book so far, so I will have to get around to posting a review at some point.

A couple of points to expect from the book (taken from their website).

  • Why shame is completely made up and how we can stop giving into it
  • Sexual exploration and how it sometimes ends in a trip to the ER
  • Stuff we should stop doing: Snooping, nitpicking our bodies, and faking orgasms
  • Asking your sexual partner uncomfortable questions
  • How to get yourself out of an unsafe situation
  • Masturbation, threesomes, porn, sex toys, butt stuff
  • And much, much more

The Podcast

63886Number 34 in the top rated comedy podcasts on iTunes (should be higher but whatever). Their book ‘F*cked” will hopefully make it onto the New York Times Best Seller list, I can’t wait to read my copy. These women we’re even featured in Vogue last year and Glamour Magazine this year!

The podcast started with them interviewing their exes about sex & relationships, which was all the awkward and hilarious that you can imagine. It’s grown so much in 4 years, even interviewing people like Dan Savage, Amber Rose & Jon Ronson. They advocate for womens rights, LGBTIQ rights and being sexually explorative (we don’t like the word slut).

Find the podcast on iTunes & Soundcloud. But make sure you check out their gay panels (Not the only gay content). Gay panel is where they interview 2 or more gay friends (Mostly Corrine’s).
